  Application:

  Regardless of the accessories such as lining and cover, rectangular expansion joint can absorb all the movement of any section of pipeline, but it is mainly used to absorb the axial movement.
  They do not limit the pressure thrust, so they must provide sufficient anchors and guiding devices, and they can only be used in pipeline systems with properly designed anchors and alignment guiding devices.
  The shape of rectangular bellows is similar to the top of the word “convex or concave”; it is the same as the basic principle of bellows , but the compensation range of rectangular bellows is not as large as bellows , and the location of the rectangular bellows expansion joint is limited to a certain extent!

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. It should be noted that the metal expansion joint does not absorb torque, so it is not allowed to be twisted when installing stainless steel bellows.
2. 2.In addition to the pre-tension or “cold-tight” deformation required by the design, it is strictly prohibited to use bellows deformation method to adjust the deviation of the installation pipeline, so as to avoid affecting the normal function of the metal bellows, otherwise it will reduce its service life and increase the load of the pipeline, equipment and supporting components.
3. The insulation layer should be made on the outer protective jacket of the metal bellows, not directly on the bellows.
4. During installation, no welding slag is allowed to splash on the surface of bellows, causing other mechanical damage to the bellows.
5. The bracket must meet the design requirements. It is strictly prohibited to test the pressure in the pipeline before the bracket is installed in order to avoid pulling it out.
6. All moving parts of the stainless steel 304L metal bellows shall not be caught or restricted by the external components.
