Reasons for the appearance of net sleeve bulging in metal hoses

2020.04.20

The mesh sleeve of the metal hose is made of metal wire and wire, and is the external protective layer of the metal hose. The damage situation mainly includes the destruction and disconnection of the metal ribbon and its mesh sleeve drum. In general, excessive use of metal hoses will cause the destruction of the net cover. In the use of metal hoses, beyond the acceptance limit of the metal mesh cover, the mesh cover will grow a remarkable bulging situation。

1. The net cover is too loose. In the working state of the metal hose, the load in the internal down pressure caused by its medium is simply borne by the bellows, and the overlying mesh sleeve accepts the vertical load. Because the net cover is mostly woven by the equipment, when the net cover is woven too loose and does not have the pressure to bear the vertical load, it will cause the net cover to bulge occasionally.

2. Weaving angle is too large. If the braid angle is too large during the metal hose netting process, it will cause the net cover to be too large, the net cover will be loose, the net cover and the bellows will not fit tightly, and it is easy to grow the bulge when the bellows is deformed.

3. The bending radius is too small. In the actual installation process, due to the limited installation of the metal hose, the length of the metal hose does not match the set air size. For example, the nominal size is DN150, the rigid section distance of the sample is 100mm, and the vertical offset It is 250mm, and a small bending radius of 1800mm is set. The length of the small sample is reasonably measured to be 7525mm, but actually the length is 10000mm. Due to the limited indoor space, it will cause some spans of the hose to bend, as the outer layer is pressed The mesh cover of the prefabricated component is deformed and a bulge appears.
