Since the pump end is a fixed base, it can be regarded as a fixed end, and the pipeline will not be deviated. Therefore, all the axial thrust generated by blind plate force is diverted to the main pipe at the pump outlet, and the main pipe will be deviated. When the water pump adopts vertical pipe, the flexible rubber joint installed on the pipe will expand and push the pipe upward under the blind plate force generated by the water pressure. When the water pressure is too large, the flexible rubber joint may be pulled out from the flange.

Analysis of blind plate force under different water pressure: The blind plate force produced by the blind end of the pump outlet pipe. It can be seen that with the increase of pipe diameter and water pressure, the blind plate force produced by water flow also increases. Generally, when the pipe diameter is not less than 150 mm, the pipe with flexible rubber joints should be installed with anti-pull device or fixed pipe rack to eliminate the blind plate force generated by water pressure.

The blind flange force of water pump outlet pipe response in water piping design, when the system needs to install a flexible rubber joint, piping system should be analyzed whether can eliminate the influence of the blind flange force itself, if can not be eliminated , it should be chosen with anti pulled off in a flexible rubber joint or setting fixed tube frame, in order to eliminate the blind plate force acting on the pipeline caused by the deviation.
